IP Driver and Data Server (IPDS)
The IP Driver allows you to create a Client/Server version of your application without any changes to your existing logic/code, even if you are using ISAM based files. And of course its 100% Template driven!
The IP (Internet Protocol) Driver enables any Clarion application to use familiar Clarion FILE access syntax to transmit and receive data over the IP protocol from a “data server”. The client-side IP driver is a Clarion FILE driver, but instead of using local physical files for storing data it communicates over IP to a server where the physical data is processed. The SoftVelocity IP Data Server is a Win32 service running on the machine where the physical data files are located and accessed.
